Why am I not surprised?

Why am I not surprised it's raining again? Why am I not surprised that when I came back from picking up my laundry this mid day it was all right, and five minutes later, I go out and it's raining cats and dogs? Why am I not surprised? Why have the rainy season not ended yet? It is supposed to have been finished... I went to meet a friend, and then to do some shopping I couldn't postpone any more. It rained all the way. On my way back home, it was even worse! the steady rain got me drenched to the skin. When I arrived home, I met one of my neighbours and he laughed. It was funny indeed. My trunk was dry, but my legs and skirt, completely wet.

The good news is that when it rains, however humid, it's not hot. The bad news is that if it doesn't rain, it's bloody hot! (and of course humid) Is there not possible to have a happy medium?

Every time I go to school, it's raining. As I've said, I try not to ride with my umbrella, especially through the streets I have to take; too dangerous. I get there very wet, and I have lectures. I've gotten wet like three times a day and as I'm away from home, it's not possible to take a shower and wear something dry again.

But not everything is complaining, though. Thank God, this rainy season is in summer and not in winter! I couldn't imagine myself getting this wet in winter time...

So, maybe there is a happy medium, and this is it.
